Cryo Chamber has an ambitious dark ambient series of Lovecraftian Elder Gods-themed collaborations. REALLY good for background or reading music.
A few days ago I watched Waterworld: The Ulysses Cut for the first time. I owned the VHS release in the '90s and it was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Nostalgic material for me. And this song and scene in the movie is so lovely and haunting.
And I'm gonna go ahead and plug my own project here. Shared it with Don and Matthew already. Solo black(ish) metal. Two digital demos released so far, this is the 2nd one.

I can't reccomend the Anti-horsethief assosciation enough.
