WEEK A
Monday:
8 x 3 Power Clean
5 x 5 Low Bar Back Squat
5 x 5 Press
Wednesday:
5 x 2 Power Snatch
3 x 3 Front Squat
5 x 2 Split Jerk (picked up from the rack and jerked from standing position)
Friday:
10 x 3 Low Bar Back Squat (speed sets)
10 x 3 Bench Press (speed sets)
1 x 5 Deadlift
Saturday:
Clean & Jerk singles, up to a 1 rep max
Snatch singles, up to a 1 rep max
5 x 1 Deadlift (speed sets)
WEEK B
Monday:
12 x 2 Power Snatch
5 x 5 Low Bar Back Squat
5 x 5 Bench Press
Wednesday:
10 x 1 Clean & Jerk
3 sets Chin-ups (to failure)
3 sets Dips (to failure)
Friday:
10 x 3 Low Bar Back Squat (speed sets)
10 x 3 Press (speed sets)
10 x 2 Hang Snatch
Saturday:
Clean & Jerk singles, up to a 1 rep max
Snatch singles, up to a 1 rep max
1 x 5 Deadlift
Not exactly proud of my Frankenstein monster of a routine but it gets the job done. If I have a weightlifting meet on Saturday I do that instead of the Saturday workout.
