I've been watching the Monogatari series on and off and I love it. Interesting aesthetic, off-color use of harem anime tropes and worthwhile/developed characters. Also watching Toradora for when you need your Cuties to be a little more tsundere.

If you guys aren't reading Witch Hat Atelier drop everything and read it immediately. It's got all the cuties and sweeties you could wish for. The art is amazing. It's kind of like Harry Potter except good.

So this is one I don’t feel like finding screen caps or clips from, but has anyone seen:
Now and Then, Here and There
A.k.a. Ima soko ni iru boku wa

It’s hard to get too into without spoiling anything for those who haven’t, but it starts out as a pretty straight forward issekai anime, and quickly becomes one of the most emotionally harrowing rides I’ve ever been on

The writer/director is known mostly for fast paced irreverent gag anime, so something as heavy and hard hitting is a bit of of left field for him.

I can’t really recommend it enough, but only if you’re in the mood for something that’s going to put you through the paces emotionally.

I really liked Abarenbou Rikishi!! Matsutarou its not for everyone but I enjoyed it. Now that they have the new Baki on Netflix I think I'm going to go watch the original series. I tried to watch the new one but it just made me want to watch the old one. Mr. Hanayama used to be my handle for a long time and his action figuer is the best (I.E. super gay). Kenichi the mightiest disciple anime is funny and the Manga is the shit. I'm also a fan of Hajime no Ippo the first season in particular. I know that these picks are not the cool picks but I've been watching anime for a long time and these are the ones that have been hitting the relaxation button for me lately .

I used to love Ippo or Fighting Spirit long before there was a complete deluge of Anime that there is today. I was a boxing fan and it really made you appreciate the sport more the way those autistic fuckers break down the minutiae. Shonen is the best feel good/motivational genre too.

This series is so perfect.

I can't think of another one where it does such a good job of "The protagonist is literally invincible", and yet stays absolutely riveting every episode.

Fuck yeah my nigga, literally the best suited art for a fantasy story I've ever seen. Really captures that magical storybook feel.
Recently I've been enjoying chainsaw man which is by the author of firepunch which is a pretty schizophrenic trip of a manga I suggest everyone go read
