Cyberpunk is here but only in lame gay ways. We have evil megacorporations monetizing human thought through the mass surveillance and psychological manipulation of its users, but instead of committing to the cool techno dystopian aesthetic all we get is soft drink ads where coke saves feminism or something.
Actually I think the recent trend of companies pretending to be anime girls on twitter is a pretty cool cyberpunk future I hope someone comes along and takes it farther
