Here's a pretty cool analysis of the first part of the 2nd game.
I think if you're not really into the series you might not be aware of the real meat and bones of it beyond just being a simple stealth game.
I like that the creator Kojima goes through and tries to approach real contemporary issues in a way no other widely accessible piece of art or media is trying to.
Anyway give it a watch or just part of a watch if you have some time, might interest you.

i liked that you could hide in a box in that game, seemed very realistic...also i like the shadow gov't vibes throughout the series
