Warning: gay as hell but actually stylistically brilliant and recommended. Unfortunately it condenses like 12 volumes of manga into about an hour. Perfect for fans of Dagger Hawaii.

theres some kind of overarching plot to this about aliens invading tokyo but frankly the cutie quotient of this is off the charts and the animation quality is top notch so i dont even really remember what happened. i think theres like some boring dorky guy that follows the girls around you can self insert as? 9/10

As soon as I saw this forum thread, and opened it, my first thought was "Will Wicked City be here?"
For whatever reason, the last year or two I revisited the genre of Japanimation, and stumbled upon Wicked City.
Thank you for bringing that film here to this forum. It's an intense film. The plot is profound... and spider demon pussy.

Here's an OVA about using computers to commune with demons. It's based on a novel with the same name written by Aya Nishitani. The Digital Devil Story novels are also the origin of the Shin Megami Tensei video game franchise. As a fan of MegaTen/SMT, it was interesting to see an adaption of the seminal work which spawned one of the best and most significant JRPG series.
