AD&D Game

I'm going to be running an AD&D game on weekends, probably nights, sometime in the near future. Exact time details are TBA. Discord is here, we'll probably use Roll20 to actually play.

If you've played other editions, but none of the older ones, a major difference I've seen people forget about is that combat is (usually) a fail state. You should plan around not fighting and getting the treasure and getting out safely. There is no CR for monsters and encounters- they are dangerous and you are fleshy and vulnerable. Spellcasters have a serious power curve: don't be discouraged by how limited they seem at first, it's more about (like everything else in the edition) making the most of what you have.
For now hell's all around us
No rubber devils
No smell of sulphur
But hell nonetheless
Hell more grotesque than any medieval woodcut
