However every time we try to go back to it, it's just a little painful.

Okay, so I don't like anime. The bad art, and screeching, is very bad IMO. My friend made me watch Cowboy Bebop and I loved it. Is there any other anime that's on this level? Something more American oriented the way Cowboy Bebop is, with higher detailed art?
