The creator of The Exorcist made a movie about insane Vietnam Veterans and going to the moon. His name isn't well remembered now but William Peter Blatty is definitely a man worth looking closely at.

Society (1989) is one of the last true 80's schlockfests and a fun watch all around. The ending is really something special.
