I was raised completely irreligiously, so faith is not something I'll ever be able to force myself into having. But oftentimes when I listen to religious music I feel regret that I can't experience it.

I keep erratically switching between diving deep into spirituality and writing it off completely. It's been this way since I emerged from my edgy atheist cocoon. As soon as I think I've figured "it" out, I hit a brick wall and get discouraged.

"It all makes sense now! I was once blind but now I can see!" I scream in a state of mania.

"It's the translations! The burned texts! The missing pieces we'll never know!" I wail in a state of despair. "It's pointless! It's just a scam!"

And so it will continue for the foreseeable future.

Former College Professor of evolution renounces his teachings, tries Catholicism, renounces Catholicism, and becomes a good old Protestant in this testimony. Does a great breakdown of the book of revelations through his series called Total Onslaught. If you want to know my skepticism of the Catholic Church, this guy breaks it down pretty well in that series. I don't blindly follow this guy, we disagree on a few things but he makes some interesting arguments. Anyways his research is pretty damn good and every point he makes he backs up with people's own quotes.
